I graduated with Honours from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy in Cambridge, ON, where I completed additional training in Sports Massage, working primarily with the University of Guelph Wrestling Team, as well as at many running events, (which I loved!).
My training and experience has ranged from treating children to those living in hospice care and everything in between. I am passionate about getting results for all patients, working with each individual to achieve their treatment goals. I truly enjoy the challenge of determining the underlying causes of musculoskeletal conditions, as well as helping with preventative care. I am an avid learner and plan to pursue further studies in both osteopathy and acupuncture.
As a regulated health care provider in Ontario, I am educated and trained to accurately assess and treat a long list of soft tissue and joint dysfunctions. I am trained in hydrotherapy applications, rehabilitative exercise and advanced manual therapy techniques, including joint mobilizations. I tend to primarily utilize neuromuscular techniques, and encourage patients that they can have a very effective treatment, while being fully clothed in comfortable, flexible clothing.
Above all, the more I have worked with people, the more I have recognized the undeniable integration of body and mind, and so it is my goal to always prioritize compassionate care that sees the Whole person, rather than just a list of aches, pains and injuries. I aim to create a safe space where healing can be facilitated.
